JUVÉDERM™

What is JUVÉDERM™?
JUVÉDERM™ is a colorless, injectable hyaluronic acid gel that is injected into facial tissue to smooth wrinkles and folds, especially around the nose and mouth.  Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring sugar found in the human body.  JUVÉDERM™ acts as a cushioning agent by temporarily adding volume to the skin.  

How long do results last?

Typically results last nine to twelve months.  

What are the possible side effects?
The most common side effects include temporary injection-site reactions such as:  redness, pain/tenderness, firmness, swelling, lumps/bumps, bruising, itching, and discoloration.  With all skin-injection procedures, there is a risk of infection.  

What is the cost?
The price varies depending on the number of sites being treated.  NorthEast Laser Center does offer a three month payment plan through CareCredit.
